Why are only some of the fingers covered? When we set out to design the gloves, we knew that they would need to provide the level of feel you expected while still doing their job of protecting your hands. Our solution was to protect the so-called “power fingers”, your index and your middle fingers, while still leaving your ring finger, pinky, and thumb open for dexterity.

The result was an unorthodox look with exactly the balance you require.

The design may not make much sense to some people at first but they really do work. On some surfaces the material on the covered fingers grips better than skin and then you still have uncovered fingers. They also help with wires and rope, prevents it from diggin into your hands. Although they have great grip I can still do wallspins and other tricks I highly recommend these gloves.

I just started up parkour, and these gloves sure help. Not only do they protect my hands, but they also help my grip feel more natural since my hands don't hurt. And these gloves are also breathable, so my hands aren't sweaty. The design is also very cool, and unique. I'm quite content with this product and highly recommend it, especially for beginners.
